KNEB 2008 Public File

KNEB had the following vacancy January 1st, 2007 through December 31st, 2007:
Station Manager.
The position was filled on October 1st . Two people were interviewed, 1 hired. Recruitment Source: Nebraska Rural Radio Association, KNEB, KTIC & KRVN.

KNEB co-sponsored a job fair, Tuesday February 27 at Western Nebraska Community College. Eighty (80) Combo ads were run from February 12th -27th to promote the event.

On February 2nd and 5th , a KNEB employee conducted tours for Scottsbluff High School Speech students, discussing broadcast opportunities.

On April 24th , KNEB hosted and provided tours for approximately 20 journalism students from Bridgeport High School.

KNEB participated in the Nebraska Broadcasters Association / EEO Scholarship Program. 84, 30-second combo ads ran from April 23 through June 10th . (2 per day, M-Sat)
