KNEB had the following vacancy February 1st 2009-January 31st 2010. Sales Representatives One person was hired, September 1st. Four people were interviewed. Resources used. KNEB on air; KNEB website; Twin Cities Development, (wehavejobs.net) 3 came from on air referral, 1 from wehavejobs.net Person hired came from the on-air announcement.

*Job Fair*
On Wednesday May 6th, 2009 KNEB co-hosted the Western Nebraska Broadcasters Job Fair at Western Nebraska Community College.

*EEO Scholarship*
In June, station manager Craig Larson served as a judge for the Nebraska Broadcasters Association EEO Scholarship. Two winners were selected from 13 applicants.

KNEB also aired over 200, 30-second announcements March-May promoting the NBA Scholarship application process.

*EEO Training*
On August 13th Station Manager Craig Larson attended an EEO Training Seminar at the Nebraska Broadcaster’s Association Convention. KNEB received one full EEO credit for this training.

*Job Shadow*
On Friday, October 23rd, two students from Bluff Middle School did a job shadow at KNEB. Karen Schmer (traffic) and Dave Strang (copy/production) served as hosts.

*Community outreach*
During the stated time period, KNEB aired over over 400, 30-second announcements regarding community outreach. The announcements were directed at local organizations who would like to be notified re: upcoming job vacancies.

KNEB radio conducted several tours students during the past year.

Some of those include: Scottsbluff Speech Class. February 2nd; February 3rd (2 tours) October 12th (2 tours) and October 13th.

January 19th, Local 4-H club.

January 22nd, Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers.

January 28th, Local Cub Scout group.
