Lingle man dies in hit and run vehicle/pedestrian accident

The Goshen County Sheriff's office and Wyoming authorities are looking for the driver of a vehicle that struck a 68 year old Lingle man Saturday evening, killing the pedestrian. Captain Bryan Morehouse says Keith Beers was walking across Main Street in Lingle when he was struck by the vehicle shortly before 6 p.m.

Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene and found Beers deceased at the intersection of Highway 85 (Main Street) and 2nd Avenue. The vehicle failed to stop at the scene. Responding agencies included Lingle Fire/EMS, Lingle Police Department, Goshen County Sheriff's Office, and the Wyoming Highway Patrol.

All agencies are working together and the investigation is ongoing according to Morehouse/.
