UNL Extension Youth Animal Science Field Day

UNL Extension is hosting the 2009 Youth Animal Science Field Day on Friday, May 29, at the Morrill County Fairgrounds in Bridgeport.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. with a cost of $10 to cover activities and lunch. This is a full day of hands on activities about animal sciences. Planned activities include embryology, dairy science, livestock ultrasound, animal fiber production, meat science, and products we get from animals. Youth will learn about the science behind animal, food and fiber production.

Pre-registration is encouraged by calling local University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension offices by May 22. Registration is open to all youth interesting animal science.
