In making the announcement - the Secretary said the Recovery Act investments in water and wastewater infrastructure are helping deliver safe drinking water to rural residents and protecting the environment. He added the projects advance the Obama Administration's effort to rebuild the nation's infrastructure - and are putting Americans to work across the country.

Also - the town of Sudlersville in Queen Anne's County, Maryland was selected to receive 6.9-million to construct a new wastewater treatment plant and storage tank and make water system improvements.
