Rocky Mountain Pack string in Crawford for the 4th!
Published Friday, July 03, 2009 at 05:12 PM

The pack string, usually based in Morrison, Colorado, has been working in the nearby Black Hills and plans to travel to Crawford for the day.
The pack string is used by the Forests to help manage and maintain wilderness and back country areas where vehicles cannot travel.
The pack string serves as ambassadors to represent the history and legacy of the US Forest Service and to educate the public about minimal impact recreational principals and techniques.
