Farm Bill Implementation Meetings Scheduled

GIPSA asks attendees to be prepared to discuss the specific provisions, the problems Congress needs to address through the Farm Bill and possible regulatory solutions that would correct those problems. The Administration wants participants to discuss potential benefits and costs of their recommendations as well.
The October 14th meeting will be held at the Crawford County Cooperative Extension Office in Van Buren, Arkansas. The October 16th meeting will be held at Iowa State University’s Scheman Building in Ames, Iowa. And the October 22nd meeting will be held in the Hall County FSA Building in Gainesville, Georgia. Each meeting is scheduled for two hours and begins at 6:00 p.m.
