Ag Profitability Conferences scheduled

WICHITA, Kan. (AP) _ A statewide series of agriculture profibility conference will start next month. Kansas State University Research and Extension will host the first conference Dec. 8 in Wichita. The USDA undersecretary for farm and foreign agricultural services, Michael Scuse, will be the keynote speaker. Other conferences are planned for Dec. 9 in LaCrosse, Dec. 16 in Hesston, Jan. 25 in Marysville, Jan. 26 in Dodge City, Feb. 2 in Smith Center, Feb. 3 in Colby, Feb. 11 in Hiawatha, Feb. 18 in Salina, Feb. 23 in Scott City and Feb. 24 in Eureka. Conference speakers and topics will vary slightly. But all the conferences are focused on helping Kansas agricultural producers improve their financial situation.
