Farm Credit Services of America (FCSAmerica) announced today that ballots for the 2008 Board of Director and Nominating Committee members were mailed on November 21, 2008. The cooperative’s Annual Meeting, held on Thursday, October 30, completed the candidate selection process.
Farm Credit Services of America encourages customer-owners to participate in the election of members to the Board of Directors and the 2009 Nominating Committee. “The election process gives customers the opportunity to select customer-owners to set the strategic direction for the Association and assure the Association continues its high quality service to agriculture and rural America,” commented Doug Stark, President and CEO.
There are five director positions in this election as well as Nominating Committee positions from twelve territories across the Association. Director candidates are:

Over 51,000 Farm Credit Services of America voting stockholders are eligible to participate in this election. Election results are expected to be announced on Wednesday, December 17, 2008.
