Livestock Handling Education Materials Available
Published Thursday, May 08, 2008 at 04:51 AM
Dr. Ashby Green a DVM and Vice President for Producer Education with the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association says the training videos have also been distributed to veterinarians who work with these operations. Green adds, - we are in the process of conducting hands-on staff training sessions at livestock markets led by cattle handling experts.
Green says - beef producers and livestock market owners understand that animal care and raising cattle go hand-in-hand. We know that giving animals the proper care and supervision they deserve is an obligation, not an option, and also is smart business.
