CAMBRIDGE, Neb. (AP) _ In its filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, the owner of the Cambridge ethanol plant lists 80 million dollars in assets and 66 million dollars in liabilities. Mid-America Agri Products closed the 44 million-gallon plant in January, citing unfavorable economic conditions in the ethanol industry. The company had said it planned to reopen the south-central Nebraska plant, but since then laid off its more than 30 workers. City officials say they are hoping new investors will buy the plant and restart ethanol production.
