
Jake Fritzler, age 84 of Scottsbluff, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2010, at Emerald Court in Scottsbluff. Memorial services will be at 10:30a.m., Monday, February 8th, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Alliance with Reverend Martin T. Schnare and Reverend Richard C. Mueller officiating. Interment will be in the church columbarium. Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 8th Ave., 7th Fl., New York, NY 10001 or to Emerald Court in Scottsbluff. Jake was born August 23, 1925, in Minatare to Alex and Eva (Schnell) Fritzler. Moving to Alliance in 1947 Jake farmed east of Alliance and was a long time member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. On December 5, 1948, he was united in marriage to Lila "Bonnie" Lamberson in Alliance. Survivors are his children, Gary and Kim Fritzler of Alliance and Renita and Tim Brost of Gering; grandchildren, Kelly (Joe) Kezeor of Holdrege, Erin Reynolds of Alliance, Jacob Fritzler of Richmond, Va., Molly Brost of Evansville, Ind. and Zachary (Jenni) Brost and Lincoln; great-grandchildren, Caleb and Abigail Kezeor, Benjamin and Mia Reynolds and Avery Brost; brother, Fred (Peggy) Fritzler of Alliance; sister, Mary Martin of Yankton, S.D.; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Fritzler and Louise Fritzler of Alliance and Nadine Fritzler of Scottsbluff and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife; brothers, Alex, Henry and Conrad; sister, Eva Brehm; and brothers-in-law, Dave Martin and Ed Brehm.
