USDA Rural Development visits CapStone

USDA Rural Development Nebraska State Director Maxine Moul and staff visited the new Child Advocacy Center in Gering today that was developed by CAPstone with a $120,000 loan awarded by USDA Rural Development. CAPstone contributed $24,500 towards the project.

The Child Advocacy Center is for children who have experienced abuse and neglect and is primarily used during investigative interviews, educational and support services for the victims.

CapStone Director/Project Coordinator Deborah Fitts says the new building is more friendly with huge mural of a clubhouse just inside the door. Fitts says the interview rooms are warm and welcoming and everyone who comes in says it looks great.
