CHADRON, Neb. (AP) _ If you always wanted to be a cowboy or learn what their life is like, Chadron State College has a program for you.

It's a family learning vacation program called ``Walk in Their Boots: The Cowboy Life.'' It will be presented July 20-23 in the scenic Pine Ridge country of northwest Nebraska.

Participants will learn cowboy and ranch skills, including roping and team driving with wagons. Other lessons will cover Dutch oven cooking and the Pine Ridge history.

Chadron State's Shellie Johns says the program is designed for two or more family members of varying ages but that lone students or couples would enjoy the program.

For cost and registration information, call the college conferencing office at 308-432-6380.
