Accidents in Gering & Scottsbluff keep Police busy

Local Police officers were busy Wednesday noon as two separate accidents occurred. The first accident was at the intersection of M Street and Five Rocks road in Gering. The single vehicle accident happened when a north-bound car apparently blew the stop sign and lost control hitting a power pole in the Northeast corner of the intersection. Extraction equipment was used to free the single occupant from the vehicle. Valley Ambulance transported that person to Regional West Medical Center.. The condition of that person is not known at this time.

During the 1:00 O'clock hour, a 2 vehicle accident owas reported at the East Overland and the 21St Avenue intersection. A pickup and a car collided in the middle of the Intersection. One of the occupants of the pickup was transported to Regional West Medical Center Hospital. The condition of that person is not known but believed to be minor. The other people involved did not require hospitalization.
