Big Drifts close Scotts Bluff roads
Published Friday, October 30, 2009 at 04:15 PM
A stretch of gravel roads in the southern end of Scotts Bluff County is closed due to big drifts of snow. County Road 16 west to the Stegall Road and Summit Road to the Stegall Road are closed. Director of Public Works Bob Bennett says there are a lot of big drifts on gravel roads in the southern edge of the county.

Bennett says his crews will work till noon Saturday and then use the warmer weather to get roads back into shape Monday. Residents will still experience muddy conditions due to the wet conditions.
