A man accused of choking his wife until she lost consciousness has been charged with strangulation, domestic assault, and driving under suspension. Scottsbluff Police say 26 year old Oscar Serna's actions were due to his suspicions over her activity on her MySpace account.

Police say Mrs.Serna lost consciousness during the assault, and when she did come to again, told them her husband was still shaking her. Serna contended he was still shaking the woman as he responded to her losing consciousness.

Serna was arrested for driving under suspension after fleeing the scene.
