Bruning impressed with state of the art County jail
Published Thursday, October 22, 2009 at 02:14 PM

Attorney General Jon Bruning says he was impressed with the programs to rehabilitate inmates during his tour of the Scotts Bluff County jail Wednesday. Bruning says the jail is doing a good job of preparing inmates for what they will face when released from the facility.

Bruning says the state of the art jail is also helping to keep staff safer because the inmates behavior is better in a more modern facility. Bruning also says he will push for money to be placed in the state budget so video arraignment systems already installed at jails like the one in Gering can be hooked up for use at the courthouse.
