The Nebraska Panhandle is beginning to see some of the Federal Stimulus dollars flow into local communities as most of the State's schools are in line to receive funding. Nebr. Sen Ben Nelson today announced the infusion of $47.2 million coming into the State from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Scottsbluff Public School is scheduled to receive $800,018 while the Gering School System is pegged to receive $277,639. Many other local and Panhandle Schools are targeted to receive funding.
