A female boxing champ turned Playboy model has been charged in connection with drug bust on Interstate 80 near Kimball.

The Nebraska State Patrol reported that a car was pulled over on I-80 east on Wednesday and the driver, 27-year-old Ava Fiore of Bayside, New York, consented to a search of the vehicle. Troopers say they found three large, black suitcases containing almost 60 pounds of marijuana, which has an estimate street value of $50,000, in the trunk.

Fiore was arraigned Thursday on a charge of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver. Bail was set at $250,000, which she later posted.

Fiore won the 2002 Golden Gloves championship and later appeared and Playboy and other adult magazines.
