Both SB Convenience Store Robbery Suspects Make Courtroom Appearances

Both suspects in this month's Scottsbluff Loaf 'N Jug convenience store robbery were in courtrooms Friday. 22 year old Daniel Schreiner of Scottsbluff entered not guilty pleas in Scotts Bluff County District Court to charges of robbery and use of a firearm to commit a felony. His trial was set by Judge Randy Lippstreu for the July 7th jury term.

Schreiner's alleged accomplice, 23 year old Michael Jenkins, made his first appearance in county court on charges of robbery and use of a firearm to commit a felony. He had his preliminary hearing set for April 1st at 8 a.m. Jenkins had been held in Lincoln on unrelated charges after the two wem were arrested in the capital city less than twenty four hours after the robbery took place.

Both men continue to be held on $200,000 cash bond.
