18 SHS students place at Greater Nebraska DECA Conf.

The Greater Nebraska DECA Conference was held at in Scottsbluff at the Monument Mall and Midwest Theater. Over two hundred and forty students from Scottsbluff, Hastings, Central City, NE and Gillette, and Cheyenne, WY competed. Students were required to take a written test and participate in a judged role play. The scores of the two are added together to determine the top three places in each marketing area. The eleven marketing areas in which the students competed are:

Accounting Applications Automotive Services Apparel and Accessories Marketing Business Services Marketing Food Marketing Marketing Management Retail Merchandising Quick Serve Restaurant Management Restaurant and Food Management Hotel and Lodging Management Sports and Entertainment Marketing



The following is the Overall winners from Scottsbluff DECA in each area. Scottsbluff DECA had 18 winners out of the 33 places.
