WNCC administrators......5/20/2009

The Western Nebraska Community College Board Wednesday approved the selection of Terry Gaalswyck as the new Vice President of Instructional Services. Gaalswyck, who succeeds Dr. Diana Doyle, who resigned last year, is the current Dean of Instruction at Western Iowa Community College in Sioux City, Iowa. He's been at the college as an administrator and faculty member since 2005 and expects to receive his Ph.D.in in Educational Leadership from Iowa State University later this summer.

The board also approved hiring Dayle Wallien (Wall-leen) as the new executive director of the WNCC Foundation. Wallien has practiced law in the community since 2004, most recently as a partner with Smith, Snyder, Petitt & Wallien. She succeeds John Berge, who is now the USDA White House Liason.
