Two Scottsbluff men have been charged with multiple drug counts, and one of them with additional firearm counts as well, after large amounts of packaged narcotics were found by Scottsbluff Police in their vehicle shortly before midnight Monday. A court document says Scottsbluff Police discovered ninety grams of methamphetamine, 25 grams of cocaine and 375 grams of marijuana in packaged baggies in a backpack in the car.
The vehicle, occupied by 37 year old driver Jerry Gorisek and his passenger 28 year old Ronnie Prickett, was stopped by Police because Gorisek was wanted on warrants for forgery and shoplifting. Police say they also found a loaded forty caliber handgun on the driver's floorboard and three rifles in the trunk. Police also found a digital scale, a glass pipe containing white residue that appeared to be methamphetamine, a small notebook listing apparent drug transactions and 34 prescription pain pills.
The two men are each charged with six narcotics and drug violations, including possession of methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana and prescription medication with intent to deliver. Gorisek is also charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and carrying a concealed weapon.
