Letter Carriers in Scottsbluff, Gering, Alliance, and Mitchell will be collecting non-perishable food items Saturday to assist with local food pantries. Items collected by the Scottsbluff, Mitchell, and Gering letter careers will be donated to donated to Our Lady of Guadalupe church, St. Agnes Catholic church, and the Chuckwagon church on East Overland in Scottsbluff. Alliance donations will be give to " Just neighbors", a community group that works with the local churches and pantries.

Place the donations in a plastic bag or other container at your mailbox, Saturday, May 9th, before the letter carrier arrives. Do NOT include items that have expired or are in glass containers.
