Scottsbluff and Gering will have their traditional holiday parades Friday and Saturday.

Gering's "4th Annual" Christmas Holiday Parade will be held Friday, November 27th. Registration takes place at Gardner Park (corner of 11th and T-Street). Judging takes place between 5:15 - 5:45. The parade begins at 6 p.m. in downtown Gering. The parade route starts at 10th and T Streets and ends at Santa's Village in the Civic Center Parking Lot. Santa's Village Kick-Off Event at the Gering Civic Center will immediately follow the parade.

Scottsbluff's parade will take place Saturday. Registration and parade line-up will take place at 5 p.m. at the Safe Harbor building near Tier One Bank. The parade will begin at 6 p.m. and wind down Broadway.

The parades are sponsored by the Gering Merchants and the Downtown Scottsbluff Business Association.
