Wolf Auto in Bayard closing

The Bayard Transcript is reporting that Wolf Auto in Bayard is closing. The newspaper says an unidentified person who answered the phone at the dealership earlier this week confirmed it is closing. The paper said the lot and showroom were empty. Owner Dave Wolf has not been available to comment at this point but the dealership was on the list of Gereral Motors closures. Wolf also has dealerships in Kimball, Sidney, Sterling, Holyoke, Ft. Morgan, and Scottsbluff.
Wolf bought the dealership from John Ensser in 2004. Ensser's family was the original owner, starting the business in 1948. it has been in its present building since 1950. Wolf sold Pontiacs, Buicks, and Chevys.
