Over 600 people were served Thursday at the 25th annual Thanksgiving in the Valley dinner held at the Guadalupe Center in southeast Scottsbluff. The meal was prepared by cook Randy Thruston, who has been involved in either planning the meal or cooking it for all 25 years.
Despite the rough economy, donations from businesses, organizations and individuals were very generous and well over a hundred people volunteered time in some fashion to assist with the dinner.
