SIDNEY, Neb. (AP) _ A Sidney elementary school teacher has been charged with sexually assaulting a 16-year-old boy.

Police say 37-year-old Todd Nienhueser (NEEN-how-ser) was arrested on Dec. 23 after Sidney police found him with the teen. Officers began looking for Nienhueser after the boy's father called police based on his suspicions.

Nienhueser was arrested following questioning, DNA testing and a sexual assault exam of the boy. An arrest affidavit says Nienhueser met the boy on an Internet site, where the teen indicated he was 19. Nienhueser is free after posting bond.

His arraignment on first-degree sexual assault is set for Jan. 27.
