Oregon Trail Days concert could be a sellout
Published Monday, July 06, 2009 at 11:09 AM

The Oregon Trail Days entertainment committee chair says the committee is now "in the black" for this Saturday's concert featuring country stars Terri Clark and James Otto. Kevin Stocker says sales for the concert at the Five Rocks Amphitheater have been so good that if you wait until the last moment to get tickets, there might not be any left.

Clark his coming here after performing at the Calgary Stampede in her native country of Canada and Otto will be driving after a performance in Columbus, Nebraska. Stocker says gaining over $27,000 in commercial sponsorships for the concert, matching the city of Gering's $20,000 grant, has also helped the concert be the financial success the entertainment committee wants it to be.

Tickets for the concert are still available at $25 apiece, with a family pack of four priced at $80. Tickets can be purchased at all the local banks, Ameristar, the city of Gering, and Copperfield Books.
