Erdman Says Ag Committee Ready To Make State Fair Recommendation If They Need To
Published Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 11:06 AM

Senator Phil Erdman of Bayard says he is still optimistic about solving the issue of a location for the State Fair even though only a month remains in this session. Erdman says some progress is being made between the groups that want to move the State Fair from Lincoln, but he says if no agreement is reached, the Agriculture Committee he chairs is ready to make the hard decision.

Erdman says money is still the main obstacle. Erdman says the State Fair Board is ready to move the fair if one of the groups can present a proposal with the appropriate amount of money.
