The old Loaf 'N Jug convenience store on 20th Street and Broadway will soon be Scottsbluff-Gering's sixth Chinese restaurant. Sylvester and Buffie Lara, who currently operate Imperial Gardens in the Monument Mall, plan to open Rosie's Chinese Express at the downtown Scottsbluff location.

Sylvester Lara says a lot of remodeling needs to be done but they would like to be open in early December. The restaurant will be both a sit-down and take out restaurant.
