Public hearing June 15th on proposed Handibus hikes
Published Tuesday, June 02, 2009 at 01:55 PM

The Scotts Bluff County Commissioners will hold a public hearing June 15th on proposed increases in the county's Handibus rates. Operations Director Carol Prince says the rates need to increase simply because the cost per mile continues to increase.
Under the proposed hike, the rates in Scottsbluff-Gering would increase from $1 to $1.50 per trip, Mitchell & Melbeta would double from $1.50 to $3 and Lyman and Morrill would go from $2 to $4
