A Gering man has been arrested for threatening to kill his mother earlier this week. Rusty Dobrinski is charged with 1st degree false imprisonment and felony terroristic threats.

Gering police say Dobrinski threatened to slit the woman's throat and refused to let her leave the room they were in. When Police arrived Tuesday afternoon, they listened to a recording of part of the argument the mother had recorded on her cell phone.

The Scotts Bluff County Court Court document says Dobrinski denied making any threats or that any one was going to get hurt prior to his eventual arrest by Police.
