The Nebraska State Patrol says a Bayard woman was taken to Regional West Medical Center after she rolled her vehicle shortly before seven Wednesday morning on the Sottsbluff-Gering Expressway. The Patrol says 19 year old Amber Lujan lost control of her vehicle south of the North Platte River bridge.

The Patrol says Lujan went into the median, over-corrected and rolled into the east ditch. Lujan was ejected from the vehicle, which was totaled. She was not wearing seat belts. A patrol dispatcher believed Lujan suffered only minor injuries. She was not listed in the hospital directory.
