Repair work scheduled on North Platte River bridges

Weather permitting, work is scheduled to begin February 15, on the North Platte River Bridges south of Broadwater on N-92 and north of Bridgeport on US-26, according to the Nebraska Department of Roads. Reiman Corp., of Cheyenne, Wyoming, is the contractor for this project. This project consists of bridge repair.

Traffic will be maintained at both project locations. Temporary traffic signals will be used at the Bridgeport River Bridge location, as the work will be completed in two phases. Traffic will be maintained by use of flaggers at the Broadwater River Bridge location. Work will be completed in Spring of 2010.

The Nebraska Department of Roads and Reiman Corp. urge drivers to use caution whiledriving through the work zone. Fines are doubled in a work zone when workers are present.
