Scottsbluff High School hosted its annual sports awards night Tuesday. Many students were recognized including three sport letter winners, academic award winners and more. The Connor/Madden Scholarship winners were announced along with Greater Nebraska Athletic Conference Scholarship winners and SHS Booster Club Scholarship winners.

Also announced were the outstanding senior athletes for the 2007-08 school year. Cody Wilson was the male winner and Jessica Reisig took the top female honor. Wilson participated in football, basketball and track. He'll be participating for the Bearcats at the state meet this weekend, then come home and prepare for the West Nebraska All-Star Football Game the first week of June. After that he will play football for Chadron State next fall.

Reisig was a three sport star as well. She played volleyball, basketball and soccer for the Bearcats. She has narrowed her college plans to Drake University in Des Moines and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
