Wyoming club baseball team off to the World Series

LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) _ The University of Wyoming club baseball team will be competing in the World Series this week. The team coached by Aaron Lozano posted an overall record of 12-1 and captured the District Eight championship recently. The Cowboys will be one of eight teams taking part in the National Club Baseball Association Division II World Series in Huntingburg, Indiana. The event begins Friday and goes through next Tuesday. Wyoming is the No. 3 seed. It opens World Series play on Friday against No. 6 seed Virginia Commonwealth. Wyoming will play either North Greenville of South Carolina or Kentucky in the second round on Saturday.
