OMAHA, Neb. (AP) _ The city of Omaha has worked out a deal to obtain the rights to use the name Rosenblatt Stadium. The trademark on the Rosenblatt name has been held by the Omaha Royals minor league baseball team. But that club is preparing to move out of Rosenblatt to a new Sarpy County stadium next year. The Omaha mayor's spokesman Ron Gerard says the Royals have agreed to give up the trademark on the name of the city-owned stadium. The Royals, the NCAA and College World Series organizers will now pay the city for use of the Rosenblatt name on any merchandise. This year is scheduled to be the final season for Rosenblatt, which has been home to the College World Series since 1950 and Omaha Royals since 1969.
